My name is Lisa, and I am the designer, creator, and artisan jeweler behind Poet & Crow. I started this business as a "hobby" in 2020, while juggling a full-time corporate career and the responsibilities of being a wife, mother to three children and a brood of furry critters.

The name "Poet & Crow" came to me in a lucid dream. And while I couldn't decipher its meaning, I also couldn't shake it. So I fully embraced the unusual moniker and let it guide my voyage. With over 20 years of experience in jewelry making, which began in San Diego, CA in a community center class, I have continued to hone my skills in a medley of styles and mediums while developing a deep appreciation for meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.

At Poet & Crow, I am passionate about cultivating unique handmade jewelry that embodies the art and sacredness of individuality. As a woman-owned creative business, I take pride in offering a variety of primarily one-of-a-kind (OOAK) pieces that are both gritty and graceful; subtle yet sophisticated. I tend to avoid trends and influencers hyping up current "it" styles, but rather, follow my own veiled vision for my creation's unfolding. I approach each piece with very few preconceived notions of the end outcome; rather, I allow my hands and heart to guide me through the fertile process of creation, only declaring completeness once the work resounds deep within my being. While this non-traditional method may not appeal to everyone, I know the type of buyers I create for will find me.

I believe that jewelry should be more than an accessory. It should be an expression of your individuality, an extension of your own style, and a celebration of your personal journey. Ensuring that your special piece of jewelry carries a story and meaning that resonates with you is why I pour my heart and soul into everything I make.

Pieces, such as the "Amelie" earrings,"Elli" bronze pendant, and "Ranconteuse" ring showcase my commitment to creating uncommon art that stands out from the throngs of mass-produced jewelry.

Thank you for joining me on this grand adventure. I am excited to share my passion for handmade jewelry with you and help you find the perfect piece that truly speaks to your soul.
